THANK YOU FOR COMING!
My name is Rubie, I’d like
to introduce to you the “Black Doors of Tears”, the only doors saved from the
renovation of the Slave Castle in Cape Coast Ghana's Central Region called the “Door of No
Return”.
The doors have been on tour in the USA for several years, with funds intended to be used in support of needed programs within the Cape Coast Community. Consequently, Cape Coast has not benefited as expected from the exhibition. The Doors are now sitting behind lock and key, unseen in Charlotte, NC and the tour has stopped as with the funds.
I have included informational
links on exhibits, etc on the Doors for you to authenticate the validity of this
request and am asking for your support in continuing this educational tour of Ancient
Afrikan Historical Arts in
I have also added the following live links regarding SUCARDIF and H.R.M.Nana Kwaku Egyir Gyepi III, Founder/Owner, respectively. We want and need your
support. The Doors have an insured value of one million USD.
